As of 12/13/12, I've decided not to update the cutie mark. I like this one better. Just so we can avoid the comments on it.
In one sentence, this vector art is a masterpiece and one the best vector arts I have ever seen. You are definitely one skilled designer and have talent to reach the top.
-This Vector looks great. The pose is good, the wings are impressive, the mane and tale are overwhelming and the other details like the eyes or the Cutie Mark are how they are supposed to be. The shading is excellent and adds to the general effect of the pony being a blaze.
-The originality is not that great. People have already seen similar poses, but these arts are rather rare and then with only either Rainbow Dash or Spitfire, so the originality is still there.
-The technique is like already mentioned how it is supposed to be for a FiM pony vector art, and with these shadings, it is very impressive.
-The impact is not that much. Like I said before, there are tons of equal good FiM arts, and many that are just undeniable awesome. But for me, a newcomer in the vector art scene, it is an inspiration and I am looking forward to be as skilled one day as you are right now,
In general, I really like this piece of art. It is an improved version of the general style of FiM I am really looking forward to see more from you. But if not, just know, you did a good job here. A very, very good job.
In all seriousness, great vector. So many aspects are done so beautifully, such as the shading and the color. However, I am critiquing, and when it comes to vision, I'm rather strict.
Positive: -Shading -the blaze beneath her wings. Very nice touch. -Color. It really pops out at you.
Negative: -Wings are a little too far up the body, and the feathers are a little too far away from the body. That little area of just skin seems unnatural. Then again, these are talking flying ponies. -The tail and hair's lack of an outline doesn't blend in with the rest of the body, and makes it appear a bit more layered, and separate. -Add just a bit more detail on the cutie mark. Right now, it's a three colored lightning bolt. Now, make it a three colored lightning bolt ON FIRE (at least on the top. That's her fanon cutie mark). -The outline on the front legs look a little screwed up. They don't fully connect and there seems to be a random one poking out of the tail.
Well, that's about it. Sorry if I'm waning more towards the negative side, but a lot of the things listed under negative are much smaller while what's listed under positive is more broad.
